1st day back!
today was the first day back to uni >.<
as we stepped out the door the damn sky greeted us with big raindrops to the point that we had to open umbrellas. and i found out that my umbrella was like...half dead. maybe because i didn't dry it properly the last time i used it...but there was like..gunk on the metal poles holding the umbrella together. sigh.
anyway. first class was at 8! gah...unbelievable. ftv 243: corporate scriptwriting. which was well...kinda redundant since we already took the last ftv module in semester 1. the lecturer was the unit coordinator for ftv in curtin so yeah. and the tutor was last semester's lecturer for the corporate documentary production class, but we didn't have him. instead the lecturer who taught us last semester is teaching tomorrow's tutorial which we don't have to attend.
2nd class was journalism 215. the lecturer teaching this is the same guy who put together our modules at the beginning of the year. he seems friendly enough *shrug* and jen & xingrui both say he's very good at what he does and from his long speech today, i guess he is.
the last class for today was the tutorial for the ftv243 class. basically we arrived at class waaaayyy earlier than the rest so we got to talk to him and familiarise ourselves. harhar. then as the class filled up and a guy sat beside me. the tutor took his notes and he was like peeking over my shoulder trying to look at mine while i was obliviously still chatting with jess there. 미안! anyway we have to do a presentation for this class, which sucks because since i've been here i haven't been doing any presentation; besides the weekly updates as a producer for the previous ftv module. so yeah. jess and i are partnering as usual and as usual we just like to be different and we're looking for a korean corporate documentary.
you guys think there's a downloadable one online on SM or GOODENTER or WHEREVER?? that is easily understandable?? please help >.<
but yeah it's still early so we don't have to stress on that for now. jess and i will start bugging for connections when the time comes. sigh. so many assignments, so little time. again! gah!
and throughout the entire day we were at uni, the rain just wouldn't let up == and there were lines everywhere, it was horrible. i bought a photoshop magazine...expensive but it looked interesting and it has a cd with fonts and brushes and templates and vectors and stock images. i shall practice ps when i have time. the line at student services was horribly long. but tomorrow i have class so i shall head there a bit earlier, fill up my form and try to scrounge up a new envelope...hopefully the bookshop has them, and send in my bank draft for my fees.
tomorrow's class or i should say schedule, is very annoying. 10-11 class then 11-12 break then 12-1 class wtf. i shall head to the library during my break and hopefully no smartasses have borrowed the ftv textbooks that i want to borrow. not going to buy it. learnt my lesson! speaking of which i also have to go the bookshop to see if my book order is ready. hopefully i can get the textbook before wednesday just in time for korean class XD also have to go to the bank, hopefully i can also fill up some form and drop the bank draft into a box, sort of like a cheque drop off box. hopefully.
anyway now on a hanakimi manga download spree. the drawing doesn't do anything for me but yeah the storyline's good. just got to keep myself from comparing the amount of craziness nakatsu's giving off in the manga as opposed to tomakun in the drama. but it's still good. mizuki's character is steadier in the drama compared to the manga too. but i've only read volume 1 so what do i know XD
i'm now on the lookout for a new blog template. i do like this one but it doesn't show my titles for the blog posts. chong's given some good links but the other person's template design is too simple and limited. i don't want to tinker around with html though i should learn. anyway once i find one that i'm satisfied with i'll change this template. i mean i will ask lina to change it for me XD
