feel like pulling my damn hair out.
starting from this morning...well nothing much to pull my hair out over. got good results for korean test, but noticed silly mistakes and a bunch of red marks in my assignment. ok, maybe i shall just pull my hair a little.
had a good mini meeting with client. chunted.
came home. ate way too much. fine whatever. finished reading my dorian gray book. CHUNTED!! now reading coin locker babies. i like it so far. DOUBLE CHUNTED!
tantei gakuen Q ep8 dl-ed successfully. now dl-ing the special from last year. WHICH IS NOT SUCCESSFUL AT ALL.
here comes the hair pulling part.
why was the download unsuccessful. like let's say it was at 27% and now at 0% and not bloody moving at all?
well.
just when i typed the phrase: this bloody internet or something along that lines in my msn personal message....YOU GUESSED IT! the internet decided to DIE on me. and it wasn't the connection. IT WAS MY LAPTOP. and i was pulling clumps of hair out by this time. and guess what? GUESS!!! i stood up and leaned over to look at the LAN cable at the back of the laptop.
AND KNOCKED OVER A BOTTLE OF WATER. OMFG
i got bald at this point.
thank goodness the water din flow anywhere near my laptop. my notebook's a little bit wet and i thank whatever forces there is out there that my novel wasn't on the table just now. even my assignment paper on the wall got splashed! the hell...
ok. 2 restarts and another attempt to use the wireless card later, i was pretty much going insane. changed the LAN cables. didn't help a single bit. checked my LAN connection in the network connection panel. wtf? disabled? enabled it, and thank goodness i'm here right now.
GAHHHH SO FREAKED OUT. seriously sorry laptop, but i gotta say that you are pretty much useless if i can't go online.
and the useless hongkie roommate presumably restarted the internet just now. why must we keep getting WEIRDOES?? why can't we get pretty korean and japanese people or just people we can click with??

and another WTF moment. YESASIA INCREASED THEIR PRICES. WTF. ENOUGH ALREADY LAH. DIRU 5 UGLY KINGDOM DVD FROM 72BUCKS NOW BECOME 80+!!! SHIIIIT! HOW TO GET!!! HOW YOU TELL ME!

a fact not helped by me going into the diru soompi thread and seeing the pics of them in concert and reading about 2 of my most favourite members CRYING at the end of the concert. yes these are a couple of 30 year old men we're talking about here. which of course made me teary! for no reason! gah!
