why i'm still not in bed......because i'm here blogging XD
real reason: i was stitching up the straps of my bag...to the body because the weight of my stuff is causing the original stitchings to tear away from the bag. you can see in the pic below. not very obvious but the autofocus of my SE phone won't focus properly so yeah. didn't want to end up with a huge hole.
i stitched up the 2 sides of the bag where it was tearing and decided to do the remaining so from this...
to this.
now the bag is a bit off balance but i think i know why. it's because it doesn't have a solid base. at the bottom is stitched together with a rectangular base (hope you guys understand -.-;;) but it doesn't have anything solid on it to give it shape. i'm thinking of going to the bookshop and getting a large piece of relatively hard cardboard and stitching several layers together and putting it at the bottom of my bag. we'll see how it goes. hope my mum gets me another big bag from HK.
soompi's what's your current bag thread is making me depressed. well not really exactly since they all seem to have branded (and i mean BRANDED) bags but yeah...i like some of the bag's designs and stuff...like lesportsac x tokidoki and some other bags. but tokidoki ones catch my eye immediately XD
and i like this but it could be taller. again this is similar to the billabong bag i saw. or was it roxy. i think roxy. (i have to stop talking about that particular one because i so know suddenly i'll be seriouslyx1000 tempted to get it):
anyway i hope the bag i ordered from yesstyle is of good condition. sigh. still wondering why i purchased it quite impulsively but yeah...no more spending money unnecessarily this month. i hope. sigh. i still have a bunch of books to buy but i'm telling myself to finish crime and punishment first...and i want to get the portrait of dorian gray which i have as an ebook, but i hate reading off the screen. couldn't even get past the first chapter. and i saw a relatively cheap copy in the bookshop at uni too...but crime and punishment is like...i don't know, maybe i don't have the motivation to read anything. that feeling of being excited over a new book is just gone. i must be less addicted to the damn internet and read more books. oh and i saw another book in the bookshop that looked interesting. XD saw it while i was lining up at the counters. i don't remember the title but it doesn't seem as if people go to the campus bookshop to buy novels so it might and should still be there.
