just finished watching Mnet Asian Music Awards 2009 (refuse to give it acronym) and holy shit! i can definitely say it exceeded my expectations (for the second half only ok)
first half - stylists, please take note, if your artists look tired, please smack some more makeup, thanks. wasn't really feeling BEG's Sign orchestra because BEG looks sooooo tired! Jeah especially. kara's rock remix of honey...eh...wat the hell and i cant believe they won best dance! they should, but for Mr. with the butt dance. honey's dance was just so simple and it wasn't revolutionary like the butt dance was.
i don't even remember who came after BEG because i was really not into it but whoa! 2en1's performance woke me up. started with Darapark's Kiss (eh it was ok...felt lipsynced), then Bom's You & I <33333333333333333 (how cute was she in her dress!!), then CL & Minji's debut stage of their new single (not bad, love CL's sass), then segueing into I Don't Care remix (the bomb!!!!!)
don't remember what happened next lol, but performances wise, i'm so grateful to Ivy because you went for Khun (no like Khun) and this is the only time i'm grateful that Jay's not here (surely he'll be the one to be molested by ivy....ew).....and ohmygod 2PM!!!! NONSTOP SPAZZING OVER HERE PEOPLE!!! i have so much love for taek tonight lol. watch their acceptance speech for artist of the year and you'll know! likewise taek your small actions tonight caused us to laugh like mad!
still can't believe 2pm! BEST MALE GROUP!! ARTIST OF THE YEAR BABY!! i cried like mad, no joke. jay, you should be here, no matter what! performance wise, 2pm...gorilla, why did you spoil the perf by popping up and plagiarising BEG Miryo's LED glasses? you should've let jay stand on that elevator thing and let him come up...fml well fangirls can wish right? 2pm <33333333333333 woodong cried both times and i just cried along...woodong <33333333 2009 is truly 2pm's year and jay JAAAAAAAAAAAAY

another perf - the female rappers special. WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA CRAZY!!! respect for tasha man lol...miryo was badass, baby j not bad, 4 minute rappers...eh kyominai, prefer CL; wish she could've been on stage too.. but when tasha came out, it was crazy! can't wait to rewatch this perf!
there was also this medley that started with seo in young (sounded nice, but really had to use the toilet....lol), taewoo (whooooooot big band style!), then JJENGJJENGJJENG EPIK HIGH WHOOOOOT! The medley was really nice and wow the confetti must've been a bitch to clean LOL
wow i'm losing my memory because i'm still so high. there are no repeats so i'm praying hard the links to the full show will be out soon! meanwhile - stalking allkpop and youtube for cuts!!
shuchan wants me to add THEY DIN LET MBLAQ PERFORM ON STAGE, actually i wanted to see them too and see darapark spazz to thundara AH WELL thundara were you proud :)
lol also thanks to dychan for coming over with McD lol prosperity burger rocks and glad we watched together so i didn't have to gancheong alone (despite knowing the results!)
