food picsbig breakfast last...saturday? sunday?
freezer was going nuts so basically i was trying to finish the food in the freezer. hashbrowns, hams and eggs. with a slice of ciabatta. the ham slices are under the hashbrowns.
too much food, i couldn't finish in one sitting lol.
dinner sunday night.
romaine lettuce, corn, grilled hoisin chicken and potatoes. really easy to use the grill function in the oven! will make this often and will try other sauces and seasonings!
was itching for cake at work today. whining to dychan king's didn't sell individual slices of buttercream cake anymore so she suggested golden bake cake house in ss2. we bought a buttercream cake there before for ero...2 years ago? i googled them and the owner's thread in LYN forums came up and i read the comments as well.
left to right: white choc, vanilla sponge, durian, pandan and yam. i basically got one each of their sliced cakes besides the chocolate ones. verdict so far - durian, pandan and yam were delicious, can't wait to try the other two. very old school type of cakes!
ok just munched a bite each of the cream cakes...verdict - durian pandan and yam ones are nicer...somehow. the buttercream for the vanilla and white choc sponge was too...fake oily. i think they used shortening.
ok i'm full. because i also ate a big pao that mama brought all the way from melaka. WTF.
